A Structured Musical Journey from Ages 3-5.
Each year of our Primary Course is carefully designed to match your child’s developmental milestones, ensuring an enjoyable and effective learning experience.
Develop listening skills, rhythm awareness, and early vocal expression. Hands-on experience to be able to play Do-Re-Mi with right hand in a fun, interactive setting.
Age 4 or 5 is the growing time for your child to rapidly develop listening ability! By playing the notes they learned by singing and repeating, after two years they will be able to recognize the notes in "Do-Re-Mi".
Your children will acquire musical skill to perform pieces in various keys, strengthen reading skills to read musical note and rhythm and develop listening skill to be able to recognize melodies and harmonies in Do-Re-Mi.
Your little ones can perform their original composed music on international stage with friends from abroad. Take a look of your future performance.

Everything You Need to Know
Yamaha’s Primary Course is designed for children aged 3-5 years old. Our friendly staff will guide you to the suitable step for your little ones.
We ask all children to have own instruments ready by around first half of the PRIMARY lesson. When considering tone color, range and playing posture, we recommend that children use a piano or Electone rather than a portable keyboard.
Before purchasing an electronic piano, please make sure that it has 88 keys, and check the key board touch and functions.
Yes! Parents are encouraged to observe and participate in early lessons.
No prior experience is needed—our course is designed for beginners!
The concept of the Yamaha Primary Course is “I can play more. I can listen more.” This course is an integration of the music programs for the 3-5 year old’s, and it includes some restructuring, updating and some refreshing new music content and digital educational materials. In addition, there is an option to supplement with individual lessons, should the need arise.
